Dolores “Dee” K. Schaffer, 75, of Bethlehem, died July 5, 2025, at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg. She was the wife of Larry R. Schaffer for 42 years.

Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Stephen J. and Kathryn (Rega) Mulicka.

She was a 1968 graduate of Central Catholic High School who pursued a career as a beautician after graduating from Empire Beauty School, Allentown.

She operated Dee’s Beauty Salon in Allentown before moving to Whitehall for a total of 25 years before retiring in 1994.

She was a longtime member and volunteer at Jerusalem Evangelical Lutheran Church of Eastern Salisbury, Allentown.

She was a member of Order of the Eastern Star, New Temple, Allentown, and was a member of White Shrine, Allentown. She also volunteered her time at both Salisbury and Bethlehem Area school districts.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, Larry J. of Bethlehem; two brothers, Richard S. Mulicka Sr. of Allentown and Stephen Mulicka and wife Nadine of Lansdale; a stepbrother, Paul Stavnicky and wife Kathleen of Danielsville; a niece, Lindsey Mulicka; and a nephew, Richard S. Mulicka Jr.

She was predeceased by a sister-in-law, Linda Mulicka.

Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
