Dennis H. Smith, 82, of Fogelsville, died suddenly July 11, 2025 due to a vehicle accident. He was married for 60 years to his wife, Joan (Parker) Smith until her death in February 2024. Born in Jim Thorpe, he was the son of the late Harry and Ellen (McGowan) Smith.

He was a pipe foreman for Scheuermann Excavating for over 40 years. He honorably served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.

He is survived by son, Dennis M. and his wife, Karen, of Breinigsville; grandchildren, Ellen Marie and Natalie.

In his later years, he dedicated his life to serving as the father of Andrew Stanley.

A visitation will take place 10-11 a.m. July 19 with the funeral service to follow 11 a.m.
