The Morning Glories of Holy Trinity Memorial Lutheran Church, 604 Fourth St., will next meet 10 a.m. July 21. This will be a planning meeting for the next six months.

The speaker will be from the Center for Advocacy for the Rights and Interests of the Elderly.

Reminder: The summer concert series continues 7-10 p.m. July 18 with Lucky 7 performing at the Catasauqua Park and Playground amphitheater, 501 American St. Bring your lawn chairs and blankets, and settle in for a fun, musical night in the park.

Catty Senior Plus will next meet July 23 at the Slovak Center Social Club, 1233 Fifth St., North Catasauqua. The doors open noon, and the meeting starts 1 p.m.

Catasauqua Community Thrift Shop, 113 Bridge St., is having a half-price sale on all shoes during the month of July. The thrift shop’s regular hours are set for 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays and 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Wednesdays and Saturdays.

The shop is happy to accept donations of good, used, clean clothing, household items and toys during regular business hours. Proceeds from the shop are returned to the community through contributions that support youth and adult programs and services.
