SUMMER SCIENCE: YWCA Bethlehem’s Summer Science Series provides educational and recreational activities for young folks across the City of Bethlehem. These rotating science fair sessions allow students to use their creative thinking by completing the activities while engaging their minds with scientific concepts taught during the school year. The Summer Science Series occurs every Saturday from July 26 through Aug. 9 at the Boys and Girls Club of Bethlehem, 1430 Fritz Drive, Bethlehem.
Each session centers around a unique STEM theme, with 4–6 interactive, hands-on science activities designed to spark curiosity and reinforce concepts learned during the school year. Each event will serve approximately 30 students, and lunch/snacks will be provided while supplies last. Miss Robotics, a guest instructor and game developer, is back for the first session July 26. She will lead a workshop focused on drone technology and flight. This event is free and open to kids of all ages. Registration is required and is now open on ywcabethlehem.org/summerscienceseries.
