Local students participate in Camp Invention STEM program

Parkway Manor Elementary School was the venue for this year’s Camp Invention, a program that introduces kindergartners through six graders to STEM, Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics.

The programs are taught by qualified instructors who are able to teach each grade according to their grade level.

This year’s program was held June 23-26.

Learners were introduced to a variety of STEM programs including an Illusion Workshop, Communications via Morse Code, a Claw Arcade, Sound Effects as well as other programs.

The four day workshop is a separate program not sponsored by the Parkland School District.
