Joseph E. Heilman Jr., 70, of Pottsville, died peacefully at home July 5, 2025. He was the husband of the late Patricia K. Heilman, who died in 2016. Born in Bucks County, he was the son of the late Joseph E. Heilman Sr. and the late Irene A. (Bender) Heilman.
He proudly served his country in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War from 1972-1976. He was a truck driver for several years, having last worked for CPC Logistics in Allentown. In his spare time, he loved taking long rides on his Harley Sportster.
He is survived by daughters, Tiffany, at home, Kristi Clarkson Heilman, of Frackville, and Rene, of Philadelphia; grandchildren, Jacob (Kayla), Jordan, Paige, Beretta, Cheyanne and Riley; great-grandchildren, Alisha, Naomi, Avarey, Ivan, Giselle and Ivy; sisters, Sandra Klusman, of Landis, N.C., Cheryl, of Bath, Kellie and her husband, John Paul Lingerfelt, of Iron Station, N.C.; stepbrother, Matthew Riely; stepsister, Mary Beth Reinhold; fur grandbabies, Gracie and Milo.
He was predeceased by his beloved daughters, Alisha M. and Stacie L.; stepmother, Marianne; furbaby, Hooch; fur-grandbaby Alex.
A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. July 11 in Nester Funeral Home, 8405 Kings Highway, New Tripoli. Calling hour begins 10 a.m. until the time of his service. Rev. David Blitch will officiate. Online condolences can be recorded at www.NesterFuneralHome.com.
