The Cedar Beach Basketball Showcase takes place this week with the event running from July 10-13 at Whitehall.

This year’s large school division only features 13 schools in the double elimination tournament with Freedom being the only Bethlehem team playing this year.

The Patriots take on Bangor Friday at 6 p.m. with the winner advancing to play either Easton or Emmaus Saturday at 11 a.m.

Allen and Hazleton play on Thursday along with Wilson West Lawn and Phillipsburg.

Central Catholic plays Berks Catholic in the other opening round matchup.

Whitehall and Parkland have first round byes.

The finals are slated for 5 p.m. on Sunday.
