Whitehall Township Public Library: Library to hold virtual skull drawing presentation July 15
Join the Mutter Museum for comparative skull drawing 6 p.m. July 15. Learn a step-by-step approach to create a drawing from images of real human skulls in their famous Hyrtl Skull Collection. A discussion will include how art and medicine can be used in complementary ways.
This program, open to adults ages 18 and older, is hands on but is presented virtually. Attendees must attend in person at Whitehall Township Public Library.

Wings of Wonder: The Butterfly is set for 6 p.m. July 16. Folk’s Butterfly Farm returns with a collection of butterflies in different stages of the life cycle.
This program is open to all.

Saturday storytime is set for 11 a.m. July 19 at the library. Kids ages 3-8 can join us for stories, songs and crafts.

Art By Jeanine for teens is set for 1 p.m. July 23. Kids in grades 6-12 will paint with watercolors as part of the Color Our World summer reading program.

PokéCraft fans can assemble for a night of fun crafts, set for 6 p.m. July 23. This event is for ages 10-17.

Teen night is set for 4 p.m. July 25. Teens in grades 6-12 can hang out with their friends after hours at the library and join in for food and games.

The library is working with Plant a Row Lehigh Valley again this year to bring fresh produce to local families in need. You can drop produce off at the library from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Mondays.
Your donations benefit Whitehall Food Pantry at St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church.

The library has a number of clubs that meet monthly.
The book club for adults meets 1 p.m. the first Thursday of every month. Come to discuss what you’re currently reading.
The coloring club for adults meets 11 a.m. the first and third Thursdays and 5:30-7:30 p.m. the first Tuesday.
The Good Yarn group meets for knitting, crocheting and other needle crafts 6 p.m. the third Tuesday of the month.
The Death Cafe, a group-directed discussion of death with no agenda, objectives or themes, meets 6:30 p.m. the third Monday.

The library’s regular hours are 9 a.m.-8 p.m. Mondays-Thursdays and 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays.
