The summer concert series continues July 11 with James Supra and Sarah Ayers. The concert is set for 7-10 p.m. at the Catasauqua Park and Playground amphitheater, 501 American St.

Bring your lawn chairs and blankets, and settle in for a fun, musical night in the park.

The Friends of Catasauqua Parks group will meet 6:30 p.m. July 16 at municipal complex, 90 Bridge St. The mission of the group is to improve the quality of life of Catasauqua residents through recreational fundraising events to sustain the borough’s parks.

The group meets monthly on the third Wednesday of the month. The group is looking for new volunteers and members. There are no costs or dues to join.

Hearts Across Catasauqua is going strong! Holy Trinity Memorial Lutheran Church is partnering with Catasauqua Main Streets for this fundraiser, with the proceeds going to the Catasauqua Fire Department and EMS workers.

If you don’t have the suggested donation, take a marker anyway. If you don’t live in Catasauqua but want to support this effort, your marker can go in Holy Trinity’s church yard.
