Bloom gets $5,000 grant from Air Products
Bloom, an organization dedicated to providing sanctuary and a continuum of care to heal, empower and employ survivors of sex trafficking and sexual exploitation in the Lehigh Valley, is proud to announce it has received a $5,000 grant from Air Products to support its vital Outreach, Prevention, and Education Services programming.
Bloom for Women, Inc. is a faith-based nonprofit organization with the mission of providing sanctuary and a continuum of care to heal, empower and employ survivors of sex trafficking and sexual exploitation. As part of its mission, Bloom offers emergency response, a two-year residential program, pregnant and parenting survivor services, and an independent living program in the Lehigh Valley area of Pennsylvania.
Air Products has been a committed supporter of Bloom for many years, investing in programs that promote healing, awareness, and hope throughout the Lehigh Valley. This most recent grant allows Bloom to expand its efforts to reach vulnerable youth, incarcerated women, and at-risk community members with trauma-informed prevention education and advocacy resources.
“We are deeply grateful to Air Products for their continued partnership and unwavering belief in our mission,” said Carol Andersen, CEO of Bloom. “Their investment helps us build a safer, more informed community and reach individuals before they fall through the cracks. With their support, we are creating real pathways to freedom and healing.”
Bloom’s Outreach Services include the following key programs:
• B.R.A.C.E. (Be Ready. Alert. Courageous & Educated) – offering prevention education to youth ages 5–21
• Bloom on the Inside – providing trauma-informed classes and mentorship to incarcerated women
• SONShine & Arise – engaging men and boys in conversations to address trauma, and build a supportive and empowering environment
• Direct-to-Victims Street Outreach Services
Together, these services play a critical role in stopping exploitation before it starts and supporting long-term community change.
