DUI warrant arrest

A 29-year-old male was taken into custody June 20 in the 1400 block of East Susquehanna Street for allegedly having an active DUI arrest warrant, according to Salisbury police.

Simple possession of drugs

A 39-year-old male was charged June 18 with alleged simple possession of drugs at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest, according to Salisbury police.

A 39-year-old male, of Philadelphia, was charged June 19 with alleged simple possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest, according to Salisbury police.

Drivers cited

A 19-year-old male, of New Jersey, reported his vehicle to be on fire in the 700 block of Gottwald Drive, June 19, according to Salisbury police. Investigators determined the vehicle was not insured, not registered and the motorist did not have a driver’s license, according to authorities.

An 82-year-old motorist was cited June 19 after accidentally striking another person with his vehicle in the area of Seidersville Road at Fire Lane, according to Salisbury police.

Scam

A 45-year-old resident, of Tupelo Street, was swindled out of $9,000 after receiving a phone call from a person posing as someone in law enforcement, according to Salisbury police. The caller persuaded the resident to send the money to resolve open arrested warrants, according to authorities.

Suspicious package

A strange package was found at a location in the 1100 block of South Cedar Crest Boulevard June 19, according to Salisbury police. The package was found to be safe.

Hit-and-run

A 17-year-old male reported being the victim of a hit-and-run car crash in the 1800 block of Broadway June 19, according to Salisbury police.

Missing person

A 72-year-old male, of Salisbury Township, with dementia was reported missing June 21, according to Salisbury police. The male was located and he was safely returned home, according to authorities.
