Shirley E. Conner, 81, of Whitehall, died June 27, 2025, at St. Luke’s Hospice House after years of living with Alzheimer’s disease. She was the wife of the late Ulysses Conner.

Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Otto and Mary (Derr) Ruth.

She graduated from Emmaus High School in 1961.

She was a data processor with Chrysler First, and she worked in the Whitehall-Coplay Middle School cafeteria until retirement.

She is survived by a daughter, Daneen Dex and husband Gregory; a son, Donald and wife Jill; five grandchildren, Anthony, Nicholas, Kathryn, Jackson and Jordan.

There will be a calling time 10-11 a.m., followed by a funeral service 11 a.m., July 3 at the funeral home, 444 Pershing Blvd., Whitehall, 18052.
