Charlotte A. Harbst, 83, of Catasauqua, died June 27, 2025, at Phoebe Home in Allentown. She was the wife of Toby D. Harbst for 61 years.

Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Arthur and Margaret (Allen) Tempest.

She graduated from Catasauqua High School in 1960.

She worked at Kmart for many years.

She was a lifetime member of St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church of Whitehall.

She was a dedicated volunteer with the Catasauqua Ambulance Corps.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, James A.; a daughter, Wendy Ferguson and husband Sean; three granddaughters, Laura Vanderhoof and husband Devin, Alyssa Geisinger and husband Dylan and Stephanie Lewis and husband Jason; four great-grandchildren; a sister, Elizabeth Devore and husband Stephen; and nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by a brother, David Tempest.
