Seniors participate in their last ‘Tractor Day’

The annual “Drive Your Tractor to School Day” was held May 20 at Northwestern Lehigh High School.

Overall, 13 students participated, with 10 of those being seniors.

At the end of the day, the tractors lined up behind Chief Kevin Birosik and High School Principal Aileen Yadush, to present the third annual “Tractor Day Parade” for the Northwestern Lehigh Elementary School.

This year, the elementary school students added some extra cheer to the parade by creating and waving their homemade tractor signs as the parade passed by.

Editor’s note: Lynette Daniels tell us this is her last tractor parade as her youngest graduated this year. She says she hopes someone will continue to organize the tractor event in the years ahead to celebrate the area’s agricultural heritage.
