After some disappointing weather postponements, Northwestern Elementary students in kindergarten, first, and second grade were able to enjoy a modified Fun Day on the afternoon of June 2.
Physical education teacher, Isaiah Danner, organized the event and created the schedule to ensure everyone was actively engaged at all times.
Parent volunteers signed up to monitor game stations, keep everyone on schedule, and support classroom teachers while the children played through various game locations throughout the school and playgrounds.
