LEHIGH VALLEY WEATHER

Schnecksville Fair host annual youth cupcake, apple pie contests

Though it was a stormy evening June 19, the Schnecksville Fair went ahead with rides, food and fun for all.

There was one venue providing escape from the rain – the culinary contest held inside the fire house.

The cupcake contest was open to bakers 8-18 and the cupcake and icing had to be made from scratch.

Once the winners were announced, visitors had the opportunity to sample baked goods from the entrants.

This brought a crowd into the room.

The youth cupcake contest has been sponsored by Houser Auctioneers for over 30 years.

New Tripoli Bank sponsors the apple pie contest and has done so for many years.
