Whitehall musician performs at Mayfair

The Large Flowerheads, Philadelphia Funk Authority, Stacy Gabel, Melody Cruz, Kendal Conrad, Tim Harakal, The Weekenders and The Wonton Soups comprised some of the talent providing musical entertainment at the 2025 Mayfair Festival of the Arts, hosted by Cedar Crest College and held May 23-25.

Harakal hails from Whitehall.

The grand finale featured a first for the festival — a drone show. Around 100 illuminated drones from Star Flight Drone Shows created bold, high-impact visuals across the overcast night sky. Accompanied by lively music, the high-tech light display dazzled the folks watching below.

The high-flying outfit is based in Slatington.

“We wanted to bring something new to the Lehigh Valley and be respectful of our neighbors and their pets,” Cedar Crest College Vice President for Institutional Advancement Lynn Staples said.

Despite the occasional drizzle, families enjoyed arts, crafts, children’s activities and live musical performances, along with a variety of food and beverages offered by Mayfair vendors. Some of the vendors provided free samples of their culinary delights, including Franklin Hill Vineyards, Happy Tears Hot Sauce and Matt-Hat Jerky.

Lehigh Valley Press and Times News were among the festival sponsors.
