The Cement Belt Fair will continue through June 28 at Cementon Park, 5851 Dewey St. There will be carnival rides, games, delicious food and live entertainment. Fireworks are planned for June 28.

Take a ride up MacArthur Road and visit the fair for a fun night! Stiles neighbors may be able to catch a glimpse of the beautiful fireworks from their porch.

With the most-recent sweltering heat in the Lehigh Valley, be mindful and check on your elderly friends and neighbors through the summer. Encourage them to hydrate and use a fan or air conditioner whenever possible.

Make sure your pets have fresh, cool water and a cool place indoors.
