Madeline Emma Slivka, 97, of Whitehall, died June 19, 2025, at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg. She was the wife of the late George Slivka.

Born in Philadelphia, she was a daughter of Salvatore and Anna (Metz) Rego.

She was a member of St. John’s United Church of Christ, Fullerton.

She was a member of the Sweet Adelines, an all-female barbershop singing group, and The Red Hat Society, an organization encouraging women in their quest to get the most out of life.

She is survived by three children, Lynda Panuski of Whitehall, Madalyn Eadline and husband Doug of Bethlehem and David of Whitehall; seven grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by two daughters, Marianne and Mary Ellen Burns of Whitehall; and a granddaughter, Tamara Lauer of Northampton.

There will be a calling time 10-11 a.m., followed by a funeral service 11 a.m., June 26 at the funeral home, 444 Pershing Blvd., Whitehall, 18052.
