Two graduating seniors from Northwestern Lehigh High School were honored on May 4 with scholarships from Girl Scout Service Unit 736 — Four Meadows, recognizing their long-term dedication to Girl Scouts and their commitment to making the world a better place.
Abby Fusselman and Megan Fornwalt, both members of Girl Scouts, received the Service Unit’s annual scholarship for graduating seniors who have demonstrated outstanding leadership, service, and a strong commitment to the Girl Scout promise and law.
The award highlighted their years of community service, personal growth, and passion for helping others.
Fusselman, who will study social work at DeSales University, is focusing her post-high school plans on bettering mental health awareness and youth advocacy.
Fornwalt, also heading to DeSales in the fall, will enter the university’s Physician Assistant program.
The Four Meadows Service Unit praised both young women as role models for younger Girl Scouts and noted that their futures reflect the Girl Scout mission: building girls of courage, confidence, and character who make the world a better place.
