New adult dungeons ‘n’ dragons program launched

Calling all adventurers! Parkland Community Library, 4422 Walbert Ave., South Whitehall, is expanding its popular Dungeons and Dragons programming with a new offering tailored specifically for adults.

Starting this month, the library will host adult Dungeon and Dragons sessions from 6-8 p.m. on the second and fourth Mondays of each month.

Participants must be 18 or older and should arrive with a character and a working knowledge of the rules.

Whether you’re a seasoned player or returning to the game after a long hiatus, the library welcomes all who are ready to roll the dice and delve into epic storytelling.

R.S.V.P.’s are required for new members of the group.

Interested parties should contact Owen at adults@parklandlibrary.org for more information or to join.

This new adult campaign runs alongside the library’s already-established Teen Dungeon and Dragons nights, held on the first and third Mondays of each month.

Teen participants in grades six through 12 are invited to register through Kayla at teens@parklandlibrary.org or by calling 610-398-1361 ext. 115.

Additionally, the library is seeking backup Dungeon Masters for both the teen and adult sessions.

No prior DM experience is required — just a love for storytelling, a sense of adventure, and familiarity with the Dungeon and Dragons system.

If you’re interested in running the game behind the screen, reach out to the Teen Services department to learn more.

All programming is generously sponsored by The Friends of the Parkland Community Library, whose ongoing support brings exciting and imaginative experiences to local residents.

For updates and more programming, visit the library’s website or contact staff directly.
