The NORCO legion season is trying to get in full swing as we enter the middle part of the month. Freemansburg and the Wanderers haven’t gotten much action under their belts so far, as Freemansburg is off to a 2-2 start and the Wanderers are 1-1 so far.
Freemansburg’s season has been a tale of two stories in their wins and losses, as they rocked Roseto 12-0 and the Knights 13-3 in their two wins.
Their two losses were closer contests, dropped their season opener to Birches 3-2 and falling to Hellertown last week 6-3.
They now have a week with Nazareth, Kemp and East Stroudsburg on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday respectively.
Kemp sits atop the standings at 5-0 and Nazareth is right behind them with a 3-1 mark.
The Wanderers have played the least amount of games in the league partly due to Liberty’s deep run in the PIAA tournament.
They knocked off Roseto 4-0 in their season opening win of the season, but lost to Kemp 4-2.
They have three games this week as well, taking on East Stroudsburg, Birches and the Knights.
