First-year student Jacob Rivera was named the MAC Freedom Rookie of the Year highlighting nine Bulldogs named to the All-MAC Freedom Team as announced by the conference office and as voted on by the eight MAC Freedom coaches on Monday morning.

Rivera was named the MAC Freedom Baseball Rookie of the Year along with being named to the Second-Team. Joining him on the Second-Team was graduate student Travis Kerr and junior JT Anderosky. Senior Colin Houck earned All-MAC Freedom First-Team honors. Graduate student Gavin Zavorski, seniors Owen Fischl and Frank Parrotti, junior Mike Hooker, and sophomore Jeremy Stranix earned All-MAC Honorable-Mention to round out the honorees.

Houck, Fischl, Parrotti, and Stranix each earn All-Conference honors for the first time in their careers.

Fischl batted out of the designated hitter position all year and posted a .323 batting average to go along with one home run and 26 RBIs.
