Marie J. Miller, 96, of Lower Milford Township, died June 14, 2025, at Lehigh Valley Hospital — Cedar Crest. She was the wife of the late Emmett W. Miller, who died in 2020. Born in Limeport, she was the daughter of the late Kenneth and Katharine (Kasputis) Cressman.

She and her husband loved to travel and go camping in their RV. They went cross-country several times in their RV, visiting 47 of the 50 states. They especially loved cruising on the paddle wheel boats on the Mississippi and Ohio rivers.

She was an avid reader.

She worked as a secretary after graduation from Coopersburg High School, Class of 1945. She was involved with the Southern Lehigh Public Library from its inception, serving as director of volunteering and secretary for many years.

She was a member of Fraternal Order Pythian Sisters for more than 60 years. She was also a life member of the Lehigh County Senior Citizens Center and a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran (Blue) Church.

She is survived by children, Wayne (Cynthia), Kevin (Kathy), David and Lori; granddaughters, Virginia Geil (Bruce) and Kathryn Houlihan (Neal); great-grandson, Hayden Houlihan. She was predeceased by her sister, Ruth Stout.

Services will be held 11 a.m. June 19 at St. Paul’s Lutheran (Blue) Church, 5900 Applebutter Hill Road, Coopersburg. A viewing will be held 10-11 a.m. in the church before the service. Arrangements by Bachman, Kulik & Reinsmith Funeral Homes, Emmaus, www.BKRFH.com
