Allentown-based filmmaker Shanna Brooks and actor Wesley Clemente at reception for 2025 Allentown Film Festival at Civic Theatre of Allentown Nineteenth Street Theatre. Brooks received an Official Selection award for her movie “Forbidden Pages,” one of 120 films chosen from among 850 entries screened during the four-day festival. In its third year, organized by West End Allentown residents Michael Schelp and Alan Younkin, the Allentown Film Festival was April 10 - 13 at multiple venues featuring the work of filmmakers from 50 nations.
