Dear BASD community; As we close another incredible year, I want to thank our students, families, staff and the entire BASD community for their unwavering support, partnership and dedication. This year has been filled with growth, achievement and countless moments of pride. Whether in our classrooms, on our stages, or out in the community, your commitment to excellence and care for one another has made a lasting impact. RETIREMENT CONGRATULATIONS: Congratulations to Barbara Clymer, Communications Coordinator, who has dedicated 37 years of service, and Claire Hogan, Chief Pupil Services Officer, who has served for 38 years.

FREDDY AWARD WINNERS: FHSTC, Congratulations to Cole Faccinetto for Outstanding Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role, as Cookie McGhee; and to Kiersten Rubery for Outstanding Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role, as Duchess Estonia Dulworth. FHSTC also won Outstanding Technical Design for their production of Nice Work If You can Get It.

2025 SUMMER FOOD SERVICE PROGRAMS: Free Bagged Lunch for any school-aged child. Northeast MS, East Hills MS, Broughal MS and Nitschmann MS, June 16- Aug 22, noon to 1 p.m. (closed on July 4).

WINNERS: David Villon (graduating from Lehigh Valley Academy) and attending Muhlenberg College to obtain a degree in biology with the overall goal of entering medical school to become a doctor. Jeizel Figueroa-Medina (graduating from Liberty High School) and pursuing a degree in finance/business so he can use his already acquired mechanic/auto body skills to eventually open his own body shop.
