Thelma G. Schaffer, 76, of Zionsville, died June 1, 2025, at St. Luke’s Hospital – Fountain Hill. She was the wife of the late Carlton J. Schaffer, who died in 1993. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Edwin H.G. Fischer Sr. and Eva K. (Hillegass) Fischer.
She was an avid shuffleboard player at the Breinigsville VFW. She also enjoyed playing cards and trips to the casino.
She was a member of The Mercantile Club, Alburtis Rod & Gun Club, Emmaus Fire Co. #2, Breinigsville Fire Co., Lyons Fire Co., Mystic Chain in Vera Cruz and the Vera Cruz Ladies Auxiliary.
She is survived by daughters, Pamela, Kimberly Bartholomew and her husband, Kevin; grandchildren, Cody Gerhart and his wife, Stephanie, Brooke and Ty Bartholomew; great-grandchildren, Kinsley, Myra and Fallon Gerhart.
She was predeceased by her brother, Edwin H.G. Fischer Jr.
