Northampton: Museum open to public June 15
Siegfried Railroad Station Museum, home of the Northampton Area Historical Society, will be open to visitors 1-4 p.m. June 15. The station is located on Route 329 at Canal Street.
The station houses artifacts of Northampton and the surrounding area. There are permanent exhibits and new exhibits each year. New this year are artifacts from Kreidersville. There is also an exhibit of churches of the area.
Scrapbooks with newspaper pictures and articles of men and women of the local area who served in World War II are still available for perusal.
The society is filling a new scrapbook with information of local men and women who served in other conflicts beyond World War II. To put someone into the new book, bring a picture, preferably in uniform, and military information to the station.
There is no charge to visit the museum.
