Michael R. Skrip, 68, of Emmaus, died peacefully May 28, 2025, in Lehigh Valley Hospital. He was the husband of the late Debra A. (Landis) Skrip. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Peter and Elizabeth (Rokosny) Skrip.

He was a 1975 graduate of Allentown Central Catholic High School.

He owned and operated Michael R. Skrip Excavating and Paving from 1978 until retiring in 2021.

He was an avid fan of classic cars and auto racing. He enjoyed going to Florida with his wife and stepson and attended the Daytona 500 NASCAR race on numerous occasions.

He was a member of St. Ann’s Catholic Church, Emmaus and was a life member of Emmaus Fire Company #1.

He is survived by his sister, Theresa S. and her husband, Richard Reed; stepson, Elliot Billman and his fiancée, Jill; nieces and nephews, Thomas, Michelle, Annette, Carolyn and Mark.

He was predeceased by a sister, Barbara A. Clouse.
