Charlotte Kocian, 79, of Allentown, died May 31, 2025, at Mosser Nursing Home, Trexlertown, after a short battle with cancer.

Born in Easton, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Anna Gadwell.

She spent much of her life helping others in a CNA capacity, assisting them in their final journeys. She worked in various local nursing homes and as a visiting nurse’s aide.

She is survived by a sister, Michele Kleckner; nieces; and nephews.

She was predeceased by a son, William Maddock III; a brother, Charles B. Gadwell, and a sister, Marcia Susslin.

A celebration of her life will be held privately.
