The borough summer concert series continues 7-10 p.m. June 13 when Project 9 will be performing at the Catasauqua Park and Playground amphitheater, 501 American St. Bring your lawn chairs and blankets, and settle in for a fun, musical night in the park.

The Morning Glories of Holy Trinity Memorial Lutheran Church, Fourth and Pine streets, will next meet 10 a.m. June 16 for the annual picnic. Entertainment will be provided by Rob Ballonoff.

The Friends of Catasauqua Parks will next meet 6:30 p.m. June 18 at borough hall, 90 Bridge St.

The mission of the group is to improve the quality of life of Catasauqua residents through recreational fundraising events to sustain the parks. The group is always looking for new volunteers and members. There are no costs or dues to pay to join this group.
