A package delivered to a residence on Timberidge Lane, Lower Macungie Township, was removed, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The incident was reported April 18.
A package containing a doorbell assembly, valued at $200, was removed from a residence along Knight Drive, Lower Macungie Township, May 23, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
Theft by deception
A resident of Ivy Lane, Lower Macungie Township, was swindled out of $1,250 sent to someone impersonating a friend via social media, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The impersonator posted household items for sale and the township resident sent money for one of the items posted, according to authorities.
Missing firearm
A resident of Limeport Pike, Lower Milford Township, reported a lost firearm to authorities April 9, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
Criminal mischief
A resident of Scout Road, Upper Milford Township, found their mail opened and scattered throughout their yard April 15, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
Three unidentified people vandalized a vehicle abandoned in a parking lot along Brookside Road, Lower Macungie Township, April 10, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
A metal mailbox was damaged at a residence along Stein Way Court, Lower Macungie Township, sometime overnight May 17, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The incident was reported May 18.
Someone tunneled under chain link fencing around an AT&T facility along Church Lane, Lower Macungie Township and spray painted the exterior of numerous concrete buildings between May 1 and May 22, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
Possession
A 14-year-old female allegedly had a THC vape pen while at Lower Macungie Middle School, 6299 Lower Macungie Road, Lower Macungie Township, May 19, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The vape pen was seized by authorities.
Crashes
A motorist escaped serious injury when their sport utility vehicle flipped when they swerved to avoid a group of ducks on Alburtis Road, Lower Macungie Township, around 6:19 a.m. May 6, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The driver was traveling east on Alburtis Road, near Orchard Road, when the operator lost control of the vehicle while swerving and braking to avoid the ducks. The vehicle went off the road and flipped, damaging the roof, the undercarriage and side of the vehicle, according to authorities.
A motorist was injured when he was thrown from his Harley Davidson motorcycle when he lost control along Kings Highway South, Lower Milford Township, 10:44 a.m. April 22, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The motorist was transported by ambulance to Lehigh Valley Hospital. The motorcyclist was northbound near Zionsivlle Road when the motorcycle started to slide as it crested the hill. The motorcycle slid into the southbound lane. The motorcyclist was thrown from the motorcycle and slid on the shoulder. The motorcycle continued about 20 yards, coming to stop on the shoulder of the southbound lane, according to authorities. Bally Community Ambulance also responded.
DUI
A 30-year-old female, of Zionsville, was allegedly driving under the influence in a crash near School House Lane and Elm Road, Lower Milford Township, 2:08 p.m. May 27, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
Burglary
Someone entered a residence along Aster Road, Lower Macungie Township, after prying open a window and removed jewelry from a bedroom between 4:30 p.m. April 25 and 12:20 a.m. April 26, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
Unauthorized use of a vehicle
A 25-year-old male, of Pottsville, allegedly shoved another person out of a vehicle along Interstate 78 near mile marker 54.0, Lower Macungie Township, 1:09 p.m. May 19, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The male then drove off, leaving the other person, to whom the vehicle belonged, stranded on the shoulder of the road.
Harassment
A 39-year-old male, of Trexlertown, was cited with alleged harassment and disorderly conduct after a road rage incident along Interstate 78 East and Hamilton Boulevard, Lower Macungie Township, May 13, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The male allegedly was driving erratically before suddenly stopping in front of another driver on the exit ramp to Hamilton Boulevard. The male then allegedly got of his vehicle, opened the driver’s door of the vehicle stopped behind him and tried to pull the driver from the car, according to authorities.
A 50-year-old male, of Macungie, allegedly pushed another person, causing an injury, at a location along Strathmore Drive, Lower Macungie Township, May 19, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
A 49-year-old male, of Allentown, allegedly harassed another person by visiting her workplace and sending harassing emails, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The incident was reported at a location along Alburtis Road, Lower Macungie Township, May 5.
A 23-year-old female, of Emmaus, allegedly pushed and scratched another person during an argument at a location along Lower Macungie Road, Lower Macungie Township, May 18, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
Someone threw wine in the face of another person during an argument at Outback Steakhouse, 800 N. Krocks Road, Lower Macungie Township, 12:59 p.m. April 4, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
A 42-year-old female, of Emmaus, was charged with alleged harassment after a fight at a residence in the 5300 block of Vera Cruz Road, Upper Milford Township, May 14, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
A 22-year-old male, of Zionsville, allegedly shoved another person during an argument at a location along Vera Cruz Road South, Upper Milford Township, May 14, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
Retail theft
A 46-year-old female, of Alburtis, was arrested for retail theft after she allegedly removed seven “BeatBox” alcoholic beverages, with a total value of $29.77, from Weis Markets, 3440 Grandview Drive, Lower Macungie Township, May 14, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The woman allegedly hid the beverages in a bag when leaving the store.
Dog law violation
A 48-year-old female, of Macungie, was bit by a small dog while running on the Hills at Lockridge running trail, Lower Macungie Township, May 11, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The incident was reported at a residence along Vista Drive, Lower Macungie Township, May 11.
Two dogs allegedly entered the fenced backyard of a residence along Newport Drive, Upper Milford Township, and chased the resident and the resident’s dog May 1, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
A 43-year-old male, of Zionsville, was cited for a dog law violation after his dog allegedly got out of its fenced backyard and chased another person and their dog May 10, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. Witnesses and neighbors told authorities of an ongoing issue with the dog behaving in this way, according to authorities.
