The first annual Lehigh Valley Diamond Classic is scheduled for June 11 at Pates Park, Allentown, where softball seniors from the Colonial League and Eastern Pennsylvania Conference will compete against the Lehigh Valley Carpenter Cup team.

The second game of the doubleheader will be a 7:45 p.m. start for players from the east: Hannah Lilly, Claire Ceraul, Addison Ryan (Notre Game Green Pond), Brook Hermanski and Marissa Siu (Bangor), Eliza Sullivan (Saucon Valley), Elena Trotter, Melissa Safin, and Izzy Molinaro (Stroudsburg), Faith Zimmerman (Easton), Sarah Banko (Bethlehem Catholic).

Also, Tessa Fredericks, Sabrena Espinosa, Abymarie Colon (Wilson), Alina Weaver, Shauna McNamee, and Natalie Chloros (Nazareth), Aubrey Boushell and Karlye Teman (Palisades), Annmarie Stella (Liberty), Jillian Bradley, Madacyn Rivera, and Grace Weaver (Pen Argyl).

Coaches for the east team are Grant Lilly (Notre Dame Green Pond), Stephen Genzale (Nazareth), and Chris Ryan (Notre Dame Green Pond).

Lehigh Valley’s Carpenter Cup softball roster is comprised of sophomores and juniors from high schools throughout District XI, who will compete in the Carpenter Cup Softball Classic in Philadelphia the week of June 16.
