Lehigh Valley Connie Mack Baseball season opened on May 19 with four teams from the Bethlehem Press coverage area participating.

Lehigh-Bethlehem, Freemansburg/Bethlehem Township, Silver Creek, and Hellertown are competing within the league of 19 teams this summer.

As of June 2, Hellertown has the best win-loss record at 3-0.

Hellertown shut out Wilson Warriors, 10-0, and defeated Northampton, 8-6, and Lower Mac, 14-3.

Lehigh-Bethlehem is also undefeated with a record of 2-0 scoring wins over Emmaus Hornets, 19-1, and Moore Township Redhawks, 14-1.

Freemansburg/Bethlehem Township won its first game on Monday, 15-5, over North Parkland Buffaloes, and Silver Creek is still seeking its first victory.

All four teams will host games this weekend when Freemansburg/Bethlehem Township takes on Northern Lehigh, Hellertown faces Forks Township, and Lehigh-Bethlehem plays Lower Mac on June 6, and Silver Creek battles Northampton on June 7.
