Grace Lutheran Church, 28 W. Main St., Macungie, will hold free food distributions 2-4 p.m. Wednesdays in June. Also June 11, 18 and 25. Recipients must reside in the East Penn School District. Signs will be posted to direct you where to park and which door to use to pick up food.
June 5
The 1803 House, Emmaus, will host a fundraiser 5:30-8 p.m. at Stone Farm Cellar Winery, 5831 Vera Cruz Road, Center Valley. Hanna Violet will perform. Call 484-264-8645 to reserve tickets payable at the door with cash, check or Venmo. Tickets also will be sold at the door.
June 7
Allentown Garden Club’s annual plant sale and bake sale 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Emmaus Moravian Church, 146 Main St., Emmaus in the rear pavilion. The event will be held rain or shine. Proceeds benefit the scholarship fund.

St. Marks UCC, 52 E. Susquehanna St., Allentown, will hold a rummage sale 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., rain or shine, with a bake sale and food for purchase. For more information, contact the church office at 610-797-0181.
June 8
The Emmaus Chorale will perform its spring concert, “Sing as One,” 3 p.m. at Faith Presbyterian Church, 3002 N. Second St., Emmaus. The 30-voice volunteer community choir will be directed by Donald Ryan. The music will be wide-ranging, featuring spirituals, Broadway tunes, madrigals and a melodic version of the Memorial Day poem of remembrance, “In Flanders Field.” The title of the concert is taken from Eric Whitacre’s “Sing Gently,” a contemporary choral piece about kindness and connection.
June 11
Emmaus Garden Club bus trip to Andalusia Historic House, Gardens and Arboretum. This 50-acre estate is located along the banks of the Delaware River, just north of Philadelphia. The site includes the Big House, a Greek Revival mansion built in 1797 and the extensive public gardens and arboretum. The bus departs Weis Market, Emmaus, 8:15 a.m. and returns to the market 5 p.m. The cost includes deluxe motor coach transportation and admission to the grounds. Grace Lutheran Church, 28 W. Main St., Macungie, will host a free community meal 5-6:30 p.m. in fellowship hall. Diners are welcome to eat at the church or pick up a meal to take home. The meal will consist of pulled pork sandwiches, coleslaw, a bag of chips, pickles and dessert. For more information, call the church office at 610-966-3325.
June 14
Emmaus Flag Day celebration 2 p.m. at Emmaus Community Park in the Arts Pavilion, sponsored by the Emmaus Rotary Club. Emmaus residents, friends, local veterans, Scout Troops and area dignitaries are invited. East Penn students in fifth and eighth grades will read their winning poetry and essays about “What the American Flag Means to Me.” Guest speaker is David Binder, a two-tour combat Navy veteran of the Vietnam War. Refreshments will be served.
June 19
The Emmaus High School Class of 1965 will host its 60th year class reunion starting noon at The Patio at Delizioso Italian Grill, 1985 Brookside Road, Macungie. Appetizers will be followed by a buffet lunch. There is a per person cost for tickets. Upper Milford Township Recreation Committee, UMYA and Upper Milford Township will host a Jasper Day Celebration at Jasper Park, 4960 Vera Cruz Road, 1-4 p.m. The family-friendly event will include the Tour de Vera Cruz 5K Trail Run, the 1.5K Family Summer Stroll as well as games and fun on the park playground.
June 24
Hivel Und Dahl Preservation Society will meet 7 p.m. at the Upper Milford Township building, 5671 Chestnut St., Zionsville. The program is “Geography, Geology, and Genius: how coal and canals ignited the American Industrial Revolution”. Martha Capwell-Fox, historian for the Delaware & Lehigh National Heritage Corridor, Inc. will present the program. Hear the stories of those who were responsible for the rapid innovations in transportation and industry.
June 28
The 1803 House, Emmaus, will participate in Lehigh Valley Passport to History 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
