Ruth H. Lesko, of Northampton, died May 24, 2025, while in the care of Lehigh Valley Hospice. She was the wife of Jeffrey C. Lesko for 49 years.

Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of Harold J. and Dorothy (Andreas) Hersh.

She was a graduate of Catasauqua High School.

She worked at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg. Earlier, she served as assistant registrar at Cedar Crest College, a teller for the Bank of Pennsylvania and Bell Telephone.

She was a member of the former St. Matthew’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Allentown.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, Jeffrey C. Hoch and wife Angela of Allentown; four grandchildren, Lauren Hoch of Allentown, Jason Hoch of Catasauqua and fiancee Amy Beltz, Alexandra Valusek of Allentown and Anthony Costello of Norristown and wife Patricia; a sister, Shirley Snyder of Catasauqua; a brother-in-law, Craig W. of Catasauqua; and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by a mother-in-law, June D.; and a brother-in-law, Larry W. Snyder of Catasauqua.

There will be a calling time 10-11 a.m., followed by a celebration of life service 11 a.m., June 6 at the funeral home, 234 Walnut St., Catasauqua.
