Robert C. Mumbauer, 91, of Macungie, died peacefully May 24, 2025, in his residence. He was the husband of the late MaryAnn E. (Benner) Mumbauer. Born in Reading, he was the son of the late Theodore F. and Evelyn R. (Fatzinger) Mumbauer.

He honorably served his country in the Navy, serving on the USS Hunt during Korea and was a Navy retiree of 28 years. He worked as manager of transportation for Durkee Famous Foods, Bethlehem, for 35 years, retiring in 1989.

He was a member of New Covenant Christian Community Church, Macungie.

He was a member and past president of the Emmaus Lions Club, member of the Lehigh Valley Traffic Club, Vera Cruz Senior Citizens, American Legion Post 191, Emmaus, Catholic War Veterans and the Naval Enlisted Reserve Association.

He was an avid golfer and member of the Emmaus Senior Golf League. He was a true-blue Philadelphia Phillies fan.

He is survived by his daughter, Georgia A. Thompson; grandchildren, Lindsey and her husband, Phil Rockel, Jennifer and her husband, Chad Wood and Rick and Tina Thompson; great-grandchildren, Arianna, Skyler and Mason.
