Richard C. Hertzog Sr., 82, of Salisbury Township, died May 27, 2025, at St. Luke’s Hospital, Fountain Hill. He was the husband of Linda Lou Hertzog for 57 years.

Born in Ruchsville, he was a son of the late Charles and Lillian (Butz) Hertzog.

He attended the Pennsylvania School for the Deaf and graduated in 1962.

He spent his career as a printer technician, first with Metro Printing and later with Rob-Win Press.

He was a Christian.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a sister, Linda Lukow; and two children, Richard C. Jr. of Catasauqua and Susan of Allentown.

He was predeceased by four siblings, Roland, Phillip and Eileen and Janice Englert; and two children, Robert and Lisa.

There will be a calling time 10-11 a.m., followed by a memorial service 11 a.m., June 7 at St. Paul’s United Church of Christ, 340 E. Hamilton St., Allentown. Casual dress, particularly featuring Philadelphia Eagles or Phillies attire, is encouraged.
