Catasauqua Police Department is investigating an armed robbery that took place May 30 at Catty Mart in the borough.

According to the department’s news release, the robbery occurred approximately 5:55 a.m. at the 547 Front St. business.

“A knife was brandished during the incident,” according to the news release. “There was an undetermined amount of cash and tobacco products taken.”

There were no injuries reported.

The investigation is continuing, the department said.
