St. Peter Roman Catholic Church member
Paul Turk Sr., 97, of Coplay, died May 30, 2025, at Holy Family Senior Living, Bethlehem. He was the husband of Dorothy (Humanick) Turk for 75 years.
Born in Northampton, he was a son of the late Frank and Rose (Keschl) Turk.
He attended Northampton High School.
He served as a seaman first class in the U.S. Navy near the end of World War II in the Aleutian Islands.
He worked in a variety of roles, including milkman and bus driver. He worked for 20 years at Everson Electric. He and his wife owned and operated the House of Dresses, Coplay, for many years.
He was a devout catholic and practiced faithfully at St. Peter Roman Catholic Church in Coplay and served as a past officer in the Holy Name Society.
He is survived by three daughters, Diane Bauder with Robert, RoseAnn Lewis and Donna Lewis with Brad, all from Whitehall; five sons, Dennis with Rebecca of Winston-Salem, N.C., Paul Jr. with Charmaine of Melbourne, Fla., Richard with Debbie of Frankford, Del., Joseph with Dawn of Middletown, Del., and John with Rita of Bethlehem; 15 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by six siblings; and a son-in-law, Lester Lewis.
