Lehigh Township Rails to Trails will be having a plant sale at Indian Trail Park, Route 248, Pennsville, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. June 7. There will be annuals, perennials, small trees, shrubs and houseplants. Baked goods will also be available.

Come early for the best selection!

Proceeds will be used for the group’s continuing work in the woods at the park.

Lehigh Township Historical Society will be holding an open house at St. Paul’s One-Room Schoolhouse and the LTHS Historical Centre Museum, set for 1-4 p.m. June 15. The address for the museum is 3811 Lehigh Drive. The schoolhouse is located at 778 Almond Road.

Oplinger-Hower American Legion Post 899 of Lehigh Township launched a Hometown Heroes banner program to honor the men and women of all branches of the military who served our country, whether in wartime or peace. These banners, which honor both past and present veterans, will fly year-round.

To participate in this program, forms are available at Post 899, 1140 Municipal Road, Walnutport.
