Egypt/Cementon: Enjoy wine, food, vendors, more June 7 at Laurel Fire Company
Laurel Fire Company, 5114 Third St., Cementon, will hold a wine fest noon-4 p.m. June 7. The event, which is open to the public, includes food trucks, crafters, vendors and musical entertainment by Subject to Changes.
Admission includes a wineglass. There is a cost.

Reminder: Egypt Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 7293, 5209 Springmill Road, is hosting singer/songwriter Mike Sherer 7 p.m. June 5.
The VFW will also hold concerts by the James Supra Band June 7 and DNA June 21. These concerts begin 7:30 p.m.
Concerts are free to members, but there is a cost for guests and nonmembers.

Country line dancing sessions continue at Egypt Memorial Park, 4540 Hillcrest Lane.
The sessions are scheduled for 6:15-8 p.m. June 11 and 25.

The youth group at Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church is collecting new or gently used clothing for all ages and genders, shoes, purses, belts, backpacks, hats, scarves, handbags, briefcases, gloves and ties and household items like tablecloths, towels, bed sheets, curtains and stuffed animals. They also accept bicycles that are in good working condition.
The clothing will be distributed to local thrift shops and in areas in need of clothing. Place shoes in a separate bag or box.
The group cannot accept sports equipment, blankets, pillows, quilts, comforters, board games, books, puzzles, pots, car seats, electrical devices, glass, large toys, highchairs or cribs, VCR tapes, furniture or outdoor play sets.
Put all items in bags and drop them off in the enclosed porch off the parking lot in the rear of the church, 4331 Main St., Egypt, by June 14.

A bingo and spaghetti dinner is set for 1 p.m. June 15 at VFW Post 7293. The dinner includes salad, spaghetti and meatballs, garlic bread and dessert.

Register your child, ages 3 through those entering seventh grade in the fall, for True North Vacation Bible School, scheduled for 6-8:30 p.m. June 23-27 at Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church. Children will take part in hands-on science experiments, team-building games, Bible songs and a mission project that will provide kids in North America with new warm clothes and blankets.

The Cement Belt Fair is planned for 6-10 p.m. June 24-28 at Cementon Park, 5185 Dewey St. Bring your friends and family and enjoy the food, beverages, live music and fireworks at this annual event.

Whitehall Lions Club, in cooperation with Miller-Keystone Blood Center, is sponsoring a blood drive 9 a.m.-2 p.m. July 2 at Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church.
Eligible donors include those who are not taking blood thinners, who have not donated within the past 56 days and minors 16 years or older with a signed parent/guardian permission slip.
