Take advantage of the district’s text messaging service. WCSD uses the SchoolMessenger system to deliver important text messages straight to your mobile phones with important information about events, school closings, safety alerts and more. Parents/guardians are encouraged to participate in this free service by sending a text message of “Y” or “Yes” to the school’s short code number, 67587. You can opt out of these messages at any time by simply replying “Stop.”
It is recommended you save this code and caller ID to your contacts; this prevents any third party call blocking systems from interfering with important messages sent by the school or district.
SchoolMessenger is compliant with the student privacy pledge, so be assured your information is safe and will never be given or sold to anyone.
