Coplay Public Library: Registration opens June 13 for reptile program at library
Christina’s Reptiles and Animal Sanctuary will visit Coplay Public Library June 28. This exciting presentation will be part of the summer reading program, so you can earn a ticket toward prizes by attending.
Register by calling the library at 610-262-7351 starting June 13.

Reminder: Come watch a free movie at the library! Movies start 11 a.m. Bring snacks if you’d like.
The movie schedule includes “The Adventures of Milo and Otis” June 7, “The Aristocats” June 14 and “An American Tail” June 21.

Storytime and craft for preschoolers is set for 10:30 a.m. June 13 and 27. Registration is not required.

Sign up for the 2025 summer reading program — Color Our World. There are fun weekly activities and special programs planned for all ages.
There is a link on the website, coplaypl.org, to access the registration form. Print the form (one per child or adult), fill it out and return it to the library. You will receive a welcome packet and reading log. You may also register at the library.

Help the students of Whitehall-Coplay School District by donating to the Snack Pack Pals program. The library will be collecting items now through July 31.
These items are sent home over long weekends with students who have severe hunger needs at home to help them have something to eat before they return to school. See our Facebook page for a list of items needed.

The coloring group for teens and adults meets 5:30-6:30 p.m. Wednesdays. No registration is required.

Sign up your child for the 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten program. Read any book to your newborn, infant and/or toddler. Keep track of the titles of the books on our convenient reading log sheets or any other method you choose. When patrons reach 50, and then for each 100 books, they will get an award.
There is no time limit to the program, and more than one child can participate.

Our Fiber Arts and Friends Circle group meets 1-2 p.m. Wednesdays. Whether you want to learn to crochet or knit, work on a current project or get advice from our experts, join us for a relaxing and instructive hour. We have extra yarn and knitting/crochet needles.
Adults and teens are welcome.

Summer hours start June 16. The library summer hours are set for 11 a.m.-7 p.m. Mondays through Wednesdays, 10 a.m.-7 p.m. Thursdays, 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Fridays and 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturdays.
