Mary Ann (Huhn) DeBellis - homemaker

Mary Ann (Huhn) DeBellis, 82, died May 20, 2025, at her home. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Anna (Alof) Huhn. She was married to John DeBellis for more than 63 years.

She graduated from Bethlehem Catholic HS. She and John started their life partnership as young entrepreneurs, acquiring a commercial real estate and apartment building in Fountain Hill. They welcomed three daughters and built a home in Bethlehem Township where they raised their girls.

She was a proud homemaker and her girls were the center of her universe. She thrived as an active mother in Girl Scouts, becoming a troop leader and lifelong member, involved in the PTA, Bethlehem Township Bulldogs, school band and color guard. She was a lifelong member of the International Association of the Miraculous Medal and Planned Parenthood.

She started a career in administrative and technology support, earning an associate degree from Northampton Community College. She last worked at Bank of America in Information Technology.

She was a devout member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Bethlehem.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by daughters: Nancy A. DeBellis and her partner Peter Fluck, Carole Pirozzi and her husband Mathew, and Barbara “Nixa” DeBellis; her dear brother, Heinz A. Huhn; four grandchildren: Barbara Marek and her husband Jeffrey, Angela Pirozzi and her partner Francisco Javier Piñeiro Arenales, Daniel Fluck and Gabrielle Franck and her husband William; and her great-grandchildren: Luke Marek, John Porter Marek, Emilia Franck, William Franck and Paloma Piñeiro Pirozzi. She is also survived by her nieces: Heather Lyon and her husband Robert, and Heidi Eccles and her husband William, and many more nieces and nephews.
