PRESS PHOTOs BY Ben Felker-QuinnMay book saletops $8,000The Bethlehem Area Public Library’s third book sale of 2025 kicked off May 14 under a heavy downpour. Nevertheless, book-lovers poured steadily into the basement to load bags with books, DVDs and CDs. According to sale coordinator Laurel Stone, this last book sale earned just over $8,000, bringing this year’s total sale earnings to about $29,800. Proceeds from the sale benefit the library’s collections, programs and services. The next sale is scheduled for July 16 and 19. “Pick up your beach reads,” says Laurel Stone, or donate your old ones.
