Easton and Nazareth are two of the better girls lacrosse programs in the East Penn Conference.
Northwestern had to face the two teams on back-to-back days.
While the Lady Tigers lost both of those games, they did bounce back for a win to keep them in the battle to play in the postseason.
The Red Rovers downed Northwestern 12-7, and the Blue Eagles picked up a 14-11 win over the Tigers with both games being on the road. The Lady Tigers returned home to beat Northampton 19-3 on Monday.
Northwestern goes into its final four games of the season with a 5-9 record on the season. There are still two games against Moravian Academy (1-10) on the schedule and one against Saucon Valley (4-8). The toughest remaining game comes against Southern Lehigh (11-3), who will likely be the top seed in the District 11 2A classification for districts.
Individual goal scorers and other statistics for the Tigers’ games against Nazareth and Easton were not received by the Northwestern Press.
