Local residents

graduate

Local residents were among the more than 725 graduates who took part in The University of Scranton’s undergraduate commencement ceremony held May 18 at Mohegan Arena at Casey Plaza, Wilkes-Barre Township.

Bachelor’s and associate degrees were conferred to students who had completed their academic degree requirements in August and December of 2024, as well as January and May of 2025.

The graduating class included:

Allentown: Alexander P. Kichline, who earned a Bachelor of Science degree in finance, Margaret A. Schairer, who earned a Bachelor of Science degree in early and primary teacher education; and

Fogelsville: Lucas T. Cardiges, who earned a Bachelor of Science degree in biology.
