Vehicle theft

Two Yamaha all-terrain vehicles were removed from Blackmans Cycle, 4911 Buckeye Road, Upper Milford Township, 12:11 a.m. April 12, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. Security surveillance footage showed two men removing the vehicles from a parking lot at the business, according to authorities.

A resident of Seip Road, Lower Macungie Township, reported a vehicle as stolen after a vehicle was not returned, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The incident was reported 8 a.m. April 25. The vehicle and driver were later located, according to authorities.

DUI

A motorist was taken into custody for allegedly driving under the influence after a traffic stop along Hamilton Boulevard, Lower Macungie Township, 12:09 a.m. May 11, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

A motorist was determined to be allegedly driving under the influence after being found unresponsive in a work van in the area of Janes Lane and Kings Highway South, Lower Milford Township, 6:12 p.m. May 3, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

A motorist was arrested for allegedly driving under the influence after a traffic stop in the 2100 block of Brookside Road, Lower Macungie Township, 11:17 p.m. May 9, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

A motorist was arrested for allegedly driving under the influence in the 3800 block of Chestnut Street, Upper Milford Township, 10:56 a.m. April 15, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

A 28-year-old male, of Reading, was arrested for allegedly driving under the influence after troopers were called to the intersection of state Route 100 and Alburtis Road, Lower Macungie Township, 4:49 a.m. April 19 for a person slumped over the steering wheel of a car. The car was stopped in the middle of the intersection, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

A 23-year-old male, of New York, was allegedly driving under the influence in the area of Buckeye Road and Emma Avenue, Upper Milford Township, 10:55 p.m. April 27, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

A 52-year-old female, of Emmaus, was arrested for allegedly driving under the influence after a traffic stop in the area of Pennsylvania Avenue and South 10th Street in Emmaus borough at approximately 1:30 a.m. May 10, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

Retail theft

Someone removed $1,161 in merchandise from retailer Ulta Beauty, 833 N. Krocks Road, Lower Macungie Township, April 17, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

Someone removed $383.88 in merchandise from Weis Markets, 3440 Grandview Drive, Lower Macungie Township, May 14, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The incident was reported May 15.

DUI crashes

A 24-year-old male, of Allentown, was arrested for allegedly driving under the influence after a single vehicle crash along East Texas Road, Lower Macungie Township, 2:03 a.m. April 18, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

A 22-year-old male, of Allentown, was charged with allegedly driving under the influence after troopers found him near a crash scene in the yard of a residence along state Route 100, Lower Macungie Township, 11:09 p.m. May 10, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The male had injuries consistent with being in a crash, according to authorities. The male allegedly also gave false identification to law enforcement. He was transported to Lehigh Valley Hospital, South Cedar Crest Boulevard, for treatment. Stew’s Tire also responded.

Burglary

Two people allegedly smashed a window and tried to remove an automated teller machine at a business in the 4000 block of Chestnut Street, Upper Milford Township, between 1:35 and 2:03 a.m. April 21, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

Crashes

A Macungie motorist was hurt when his sport utility vehicle flipped onto its roof in a one-vehicle crash in the area of the Trexlertown Bypass and Spring Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, 7:21 p.m. May 14, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The motorist was driving southbound on the bypass when the vehicle went into the grass, crossed through the northbound lane and hit an embankment, causing the vehicle to overturn. Yocum Towing and Recovery and Macungie Ambulance Corps also responded.

Theft

Someone removed a leaf vacuum, valued at $2,645, from the rear of Weis Markets, 3440 Grandview Drive, Lower Macungie Township, at approximately 9:40 p.m. April 27, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The person allegedly fled in a black minivan, according to authorities.

A former employee at Joe’s Kwik Mart, 4002 Chestnut St., Upper Milford Township, allegedly removed $8,192 in dollar bills from a gambling machine at the store over a period of three days, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The incident was reported Dec. 12, 2024.

A resident of a location along Chestnut Street, Upper Milford Township, learned two packages delivered to their residence were missing and likely removed between March 19 and April 10, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

A package, valued at $39.99, was removed from a residence on Belmont Drive, Lower Macungie Township, April 14, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. A delivery driver may have removed the package, according to authorities.

Two residents of a skilled nursing facility in the 1700 block of Spring Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, allege a total of $40 cash was removed from their rooms during March, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. Each resident reported missing $20 in cash. The incidents were reported March 31.

Criminal mischief

A 38-year-old male, of no known address, was taken into custody after allegedly slashing the tires of another person’s vehicle during an argument in the area of the 5800 block of Hamilton Boulevard, Lower Macungie Township, 7:50 p.m. May 5, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
