Simple assault
A 34-year-old male, of Nazareth, was charged April 9 with alleged simple assault, harassment and disorderly conduct after an incident at Lehigh Valley Hospital, South Cedar Crest Boulevard, according to Salisbury police.
DUI crash
A 41-year-old male, of Coopersburg, was charged April 9 with allegedly driving under the influence and driving vehicle at safe speed after a vehicle crash in the unit block of Chestnut Hill Road, according to Salisbury police. The male was transported to a hospital for treatment after the crash.
DUI
A 54-year-old female, of Bethlehem, was charged March 30 with allegedly driving under the influence and traffic offenses after a traffic stop in the area of Broadway and Delaware Avenue, according to Salisbury police.
Burglary
Someone entered a residence and removed various items at a location in the 500 block of East Emmaus Avenue, according to Salisbury police. The incident was reported April 5.
Forgery
A 28-year-old male, of Gilbertsville, was charged April 2 with alleged forgery, financial exploitation of an older adult or care dependent person, theft by deception, theft by unlawful taking, receiving stolen property and access device fraud following an investigation at a location in the area of the 2300 block of Lehigh Parkway North, according to Salisbury police.
Fraud
A resident of the 2100 block of Lehigh Parkway North was scammed into sending approximately $4,000 in cryptocurrency to someone pretending to be a sheriff’s deputy, according to Salisbury police. The incident was reported April 11.
Warrant arrest
A 19-year-old male, of Allentown, was taken into custody in the 1900 block of Duffield Court April 1 due to an arrest warrant from Luzerne County, according to Salisbury police.
Compulsory school attendance
A 44-year-old female, of Emmaus, was charged April 1 with allegedly violating adult compulsory school attendance after a student had an excessive number of school absences, according to Salisbury police.
Community justice panel
A 15-year-old female, of Allentown, was referred to the community justice panel April 2 after an incident involving possession of alcohol at Salisbury Township High School, 500 E. Montgomery St., according to Salisbury police.
A 14-year-old male, of Allentown, was referred to the community justice panel April 10 for alleged disorderly conduct inside Salisbury High School, 500 E. Montgomery St., according to Salisbury police.
A 16-year-old male, of Allentown, was referred to the community justice panel April 14 for allegedly possessing a nicotine vape inside Salisbury High School, 500 E. Montgomery St., according to Salisbury police.
Use of tobacco in schools prohibited
A 17-year-old male, of Bethlehem, was charged April 14 with alleged violation of use of tobacco in schools prohibited after being found with a nicotine vape inside Salisbury Township High School, 500 E. Montgomery St., according to Salisbury police.
Criminal mischief
A 33-year-old female, of Slatington, was charged April 10 with alleged criminal mischief after an incident in the 1200 block of South Cedar Crest Boulevard where a vehicle window was shattered, according to Salisbury police.
A door and a ventilation pipe were damaged in a women’s restroom in Laubach Park, 1600 Lehigh Ave., according to Salisbury police. The incident was reported April 11.
Scam
A resident of the 1100 block of East Emmaus Avenue was swindled out of a fee paid toward the purchase of a dog, according to Salisbury police. The dog was not delivered and no other information on the sellers of the dog was available. The incident was reported April 8.
